Finding Words.

A lot of the time people struggle to find the words to what they are really feeling. Seriously think about it. "The difference between the right word and the wrong word is the difference between lightning and lightning bug." {Quote-Mark Twain} I've often realized that a lot of the time people have already found those words.. You just have to find the people.. I've found many people who can find these words.. This who they are:

A Moment of Remembrance.

Today, 8 years ago was a tragic day. An epic disaster to America and her citizens. I remember my father coming and doing lunch duty and my teacher saying "If you want to take her home now you can." I remember saying, "Daddy I get to go home early why?" Daddy said, "You'll find out soon enough.. It's scary.. Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid." I remember being 6 years old watching NBC and seeing these 3 buildins on fire. Two planes had crashed into these massive skyscrapers in NYC. "Daddy is this a movie?" "No. Don't be scared."
Scared. I was not. I was sad. Why would people kill people? Why would this happen. I didn't know what to think and all I knew is that I was just sad for the people that died. That died for someone's sadistic attack on my country. My home. My people.
All that I know to now is to never forget. Never forget. I will not forget that day when we were attacked. It was an awakening and the beginning of a new culture.

So Um, What? It's September already?!

So if you're like me, or could relate to me, you might realize that it's September 9th already. 09/09/09! I remember when it was 08/08/08! Goodness gracious how time flies. And yes it maybe a cliche but it is absolutly true! I mean it hasn't all been fun and games, I would tell you but I don't feel like writing a novel right now. Ha! But seriously, did it not go by fast. Every month I remember sitting down and saying "Gosh, that went by fast." And I CAN remember saying that. Ha!

So said all that to say this, don't waste your time. Don't waste it. Life will be up before you know and you don't want to be on your deathbed saying "Gosh that went by fast." Make the most of every oppurtunity given to you. But don't overload your life to where you don't have time to do anything but nothing. Don't make yourself busy to the point where you have to do anything relaxing or enjoyable.

Hey hey anybody who reads this.
So like 2 weeks ago I started school. -_- It's pretty awesome but I only get out until like 4, and I don't get home till 5. Crazy, eh? So anyways haven't been blogging much, so I'm sorry about that.
Things have been going really great for me. Really great. :D

Scotland Broke My Heart

Where to begin? Scotland was awesome. God broke my heart. He moved me sooo much. It's so crazy what he's done to me, for me, around me. It amazes me how much he can use a group of total strangers, unify them, use them, and love through them to a group of people in another country. There's so much to tell and so little time.
Ending with this just let me say one thing: Love.
It's a verb, language, thing, tool, power, mission, moment, being, healer, provider, sufficient, enough, movement, revalution, key, and more. Love is everything you need.

Lame and Confidence

So, recently I've been thinking a lot about how people in church often say that they are gonna rise up and be different. That they are gonna live what they preach and rock their world. That they are gonna reach out and change their world. People are confident in church and lame in the world..
It's ticking me off people..
Live your life to the fullest, live up to your worth, live up to your potential. Be yourself, have fun, and CHANGE the world.

Acquire the Fire

I'm very happy to say that I will be going to Acquire the Fire(ATF) very soon!!!! Acquire the fire is a 2 day, jam pack, fun, God, awesome EXPERIENCE! They have excellent bands and speakers. I recommend it to anybody who has and ever will ask about it! GO people! HAVE FUN! GROW!

Hey!

The Last Day

Yay! Today is the last day of Spring Break. Though I've only been given 3 days out of school, I've been bored out of my mind! I'm finally done! Yipee! But the irony of course is that tomorrow I will be begging to sleep in and not have to go to school?
